I see at least 5 different ways Landlords can turn this into a scam and abuse the provisions without violating the provisions.The main way to abuse this is as follows:A Landlord has a property that normally rents for $500.00 a month (Lets just say a Ozark rundown trailer).

You can let your political beliefs guide your investments and deny this is happening.

They denied them their back wages and weren't paying them minimum wage.

If they do not meet those I deny them.

As for should you make this purchase or pay off student debt, I have an interest in this scenario which cannot be denied.  

Can you really deny an applicant because they are a civilian? 

Otherwise they will be abused to death.5)   If and when you get responsible longer term tenant(s) you might want to see if they are willing to act as a resident manager to help keep an eye on things,  but be sure to square this with WA employment law,  or you can get into a lot of trouble.   

I have testified at court for those that were ripping rents.. and those folks went to jail  not jail PRISION.. its a horrid thing to teach very limited capital new investors.. its ripe for fraud and abuse and failure..
