They collect the origination fee from you, sell their mortgage, apparently conveniently thru MERS, get their money back, goes on to next customer, do another mortgage.

I came to this conclusion after doing some custom blends that I ultimately ended up needing to repaint because I couldn't match for touch ups, but if you have a better method for handling this I'm all ears.

I think there is a valid argument that properties in a flood plain should be worth less because they cost more to own, but I could never get the appraiser to buy into that.

I was the 2nd one to call the realtor to see the place, but when we got there, a customer whom she just showed to house hours earlier, was there talking to the seller trying to cut her out of the deal.
