Taking the classes in person at a school are probably the best way to go, but if you don't have a class near you or you don't have the time to dedicate to a full time class then the online courses are good for that.

Best advice I can give is get started young when time is on your side when you don't have a family to support because it becomes very challenging as you get older.My hat goes off to anyone dedicated and determined to save 20% to put down on an investment property as it definitely is a challenge but will pay off

WSHFC is a non-profit dedicated to helping every Washingtonian own their own home, and this program allows us to take out a loan with 3% down, then get 4% down payment assistance so the cash required to close is super-minimal (as little as $6,000 in some cases, depends on the purchase price of the property though).
