Scrum is almost cult-like for many development teams that use it, and taking one or two best practices out of the model is NOT the same as using the model.Lastly, I'll say that if the person you got this information from told you that they were able to bring the schedule in and stay on budget because of Scrum, he's probably lying to you.

Most larger painters will be able to do it or know who can because it's a make work/money project for them.In my opinion this is a case of regulation gone nuts because unlike asbestos which can go airborne and cause cancer when disturbed, the lead in the paint is not a huge issue unless a lot of paint chips  are left lying around AND then ingested.

So the next steps are1- Talk to as many people as possible about their goals/ideas/stories2 - Do the homework to see if opening a PM business is for me3- Start looking for investment opportunities and manage those bad boys4- I'd be lying if I said I didn't have an interest in being a sellers/buyer agent.

Once the moisture level declines to the correct thresholds this existing flooring product WILL lie flat again (Actually the high quality of this old product is demonstrated by the fact that it has cupped only as much as it has, not more).
