You can, however, have another unrelated individual with a SDIRA lend to your LLC from their SDIRA.

Ive read the UBG several times, the guide to screening tenets, bought and read a copy of Rich Dad, Poor Dad, and pretty much anything else I can get my hands on.My plan is to follow a buy and hold strategy, and possibly throw a flip or two into the mix.

I read several of his legal-related real estate books in the Rich Dad series and liked his approach.

Hi Jeff,In the scenario you laid out above, could someone start an LLC to obtain the HML but then be a rent-paying tenant as an individual in the property, essentially paying rent to your LLC or does that violate the Dodd-Frank regulation?

I've already read the UBG, listened to a few podcasts, digested several blog articles, and am almost halfway done with Rich Dad, Poor Dad.

Unlikely since there is a rich mining history here but thinking through every scenario here as coal is a dying industry.
