Hi @Alex Miles, The majority of investors/taxpayers do not realize that foreign property can qualify under Section 1031, but the exchange has to be between foreign properties.

Hi Upen Patel,Thank you for answersI will ask my Lender what their Internal restrictions are, regarding Rental Income " Showing " as actual Income How Long must I own the Property, in order to qualify for the 90% LTV via a Cash-Out refi , or is the 90% LTV strictly for a HELOC only ?

In my experience, I've come to the realization that I need to get pre-approved, rather than pre-qualified, in order to get someone (real estate agent) to show me around an area and start helping me find a property I'd like to invest in.
