.- How you chose that location and what research you did before buying.Add up mortgage, taxes, increased insurance, CAPEX, maintenance, furnishings replacement, increased wear and tear, utilities, and property management (even if you are doing it yourself, it takes your time which is worth something), you'd be shocked how much it takes for an STR to be profitable.
