Living in NYC, I have found some houses converted to multi-units but was never legitimately done through the proper channels and the landlords were fined hefty fees.

@David Minaya a word of caution: I have some clients who formed a partnership (multi-member LLC) and are now second guessing the wisdom of that move.

More and more companies will not insure anything with asbestos siding.I ended up moving all my properties and vehicles to a new company, but had to get a completely different company for the property with asbestos.
