Hi Jr, as a newbie,  I recommend going after pre-foreclosures versus foreclosed properties -- your mission would be to connect with the homeowner versus foreclosed properties which can be a scavenger hunt that leads to nowhere.   

I definitely see how this will lead to a lot of complaints.

And while ultimately I'd like to have a multi unit of my own that I actually house hack, for now I get to live in a first class building (maintenance free) on a non-first class budget.
