It really depends on your experience level and where you are at.

I sound like every Newb here on BiggerPockets but I'm dead serious about taking what I've been learning to the next level.

Some are high level and very competent and others are frankly morons.

Use a goal that fits YOUR life, YOUR wealth plan, and YOUR comfort level.

I hired a foundation expert and had him look at it, can't remember the exact amount, I guess it was around 500$, the guy actually paid very little attention to the foundation, he was looking for the gaps between ceiling and walls, cracks around windows / frame, and drop in floor level, in the end he said it'll last another 100 years.

I have been able to achieve good income levels with diversification across a variety of geographic markets and asset classes. 

Knowing that I'm officially in the game is the greatest feeling.

It happens frequently, can cause some bad feelings, but ultimately no one involved committed a felony level offense.
