I am getting ready to close on my first property - it's a duplex located in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago, and I will be renting out the first floor unit and occupying the second floor unit myself.

Appfolio typically requires you to have 50+ units to on-board last time I checked.

To me it seems like it would be the ideal space for another unit.

This property is located in Hamilton Ohio, and is one unit in a 4 unit complex that I purchased in June 2023 full with tenants. 

For instance, zip code 13210 shows a substantial rental market with higher median rents, especially for larger units.

Our Self Storage developments, the same thing. 

We do allow pets in the upstairs unit.

I plan to self manage.  

A frustrated sister of mine who was her self appointed power of attorney is angry with me taking care of mom - so using her 32 years of legal secretary experience - to illegally become power of attorney she files a lawsuit to get me evicted claiming $2300 rent due for past 19 months = $43000 - it was overturned for many reasons.
