When the newspaper police log reads "1:35AM Rode Down Street, the public jumped into bushes" you know it's not a great neighborhood.There are no doubt deals to be made there, but every section of Rochester that circles the downtown area, where the vast majority of multi-families are, are in I would say C neighborhoods.

walk through the mud room and there is a wall with pistols the PM's check out.. then the front of the office had a bankers teller type situation for rent with bullet proof glass no less and then of course the front window was busted out  happens weekly he tells me .. disgruntled tenants.When doing rehab he had to have retired police officers on site they checked ID and sign in for any subs coming in to work.. they determined if it was not the neighbors stripping the house it was the workers that worked for the subs.. made sense they knew what they put in that day Knew the lock box code came back at night and poof. its another world out there it aint portlandia..I also took my banker a few times to Jackson MS where we were the largest HML in the market at the time.. down to south Jackson through west Jackson..

He doesn't want to file a police report because then he can't get insurance on the house and he feels that once someone is living there the problem goes away.- by end of June he'll have electrical into the house and inspected and a security system in place along with the previously mentioned security measures all using his own money.

They just extended BART out here and widened Highway 4 so it's becoming a lot easier for commuters and they've also increased the police department personnel so now it's becoming a much safer city.
