Hello Jason, I am a licensed real estate agent in North Carolina and also work with a property management company in the Charlotte area.

Loose your job or switch companies and that loan probably has to be paid off before end of the year. 

I've tried online lending companies like credible but they all give me interest rates above 10%.I am wondering if anyone has any advice or suggestions for paying off the $50k sooner rather than later to avoid paying double the loan...any insight is appreciated!

Bottom line you ran into a fake lender who is just stringing you along to see how much money he or she can get out of you and then go dark.. move on .. find a real lender.. and I will bet the terms were great too right?.

Next day she did this: send me the power company's rejection of discount for her electric bill when the house's thermostat is not smart one.

If they are not licensed then you are out of luck Yup fake lender you got scammed no hope there..
