You could buy it out or increase the rate to reduce the years, but it will result in a much more costlier loan. 

As the financial markets change new financing products come and old products sometimes go away. 

Why would you get a $300k loan with $100k down when you can spend way less and get way more in a couple of years?

Baht is going to take a beating the next couple of years too I expect.Maybe Japan. 

During the first year, my tenant failed to pay rent on time and sometimes we had to threaten him with eviction letters.

Been going on 4 years now and have never had a problem and it always gets great reviews. 

We discussed that in 2 years he would either sell, Rent it out ( and we co own the rental)  or buy me out of my share at present market value.
