Don’t get mixed up emotionally with the situation.

All the investors after lower quality homes looking to add value and renovated homes as less liquid because primary home buyers make emotional decisions so need to find the right buyer. 

Understand that they are books that are about emotion, and you'll be fine.  

For the seller WHO they sell to might be financial only in nature or might have an emotional component also.

While it would crush me emotionally to see many of my friends and family become a victim of this industry, I feel a bailout might just extend their pain and not solve the problem.

I saw them charging in excess of $600-$900 (Like I used to) and KNEW they didn't have the capacity to support a student the way someone who's been there "emotionally" can.What I mean is that I've been there, I've done it, I've won massively and I've lost massively.

Plus, most people respond better to emotional appeals than to logical arguments, i.e. you'll get more calls if you give away a free weekend trip for two to Vegas than you will if you give $1,200 back in discounts, even though financially they are comparable.

Apparently in California the house is no longer haunted after 3 years.I'd think Daniel it might be easier for you to sell the house and buy something else that doesn't have the emotional connection.

Make your decision based on good business and financial decisions and not emotions.
