Hello, @Ivan Barratt,I will be starting out with SFRs, and as time will tell, I look forward to branching out into Multi~Unit dwellings.At this point, I am looking at the area around Riley Hospital for Children, IU Health University Hospital area.

The location supports fairly high rents as it's about a mile north of Cornell University Vet School. 

Since you are from Jax, the it's located east of Phillips Hwy halfway between University and emerson but on the east side of the railroad tracks. 

A new study that was a collaboration of three universities concluded that in the nations 24 largest markets, only 4 showed median price increases between 2010 and 2016.

I graduated at the top of my university class and went on to a fully-funded PhD fellowship in the Ivy League.

Yet the Morris Invest Facebook page chugs along with nary a hiccup...it’s like a whole parallel universe where newbie investors chime in on their love for the podcasts and desire to hit their “freedom number”.

Considering a condo or apartment investment property in the university area of Raleigh, NC. any advice on pros /cons compared to SFH?

That said, the RE investor universe is well-populated by folks who will hesitate to spend $1500 on doing it the right way, but will fork over $100,000 with crossed fingers and a prayer.  

The world will be changing from all this but seems a city thats a medical hub with all its Universities and innovation seems to stand a chance rhoughts on rental and sales market ?
