So yes you do not need to allow accessAlso regarding trees, in most states if your tree falls on someone elses property and causes damage, if it was a healthy tree and due to a storm then you are not responsible, he would need to file an insurance claim. but sending you a bill I would say send it to your insurance company and then they can contact me for mine if they need it.

While they started cutting down trees yesterday, they said the actual construction won't start until at least early summer.

In the 1/3 year we've had our STR, these things seem to be the most important to our guests:1. location (folks appreciate being close to Pigeon Forge AND Gatlinburg)2. cabin-feel (they like the log cabin aesthetic and prefer that over traditional construction materials and styles)3. hot tub is a must. 4. stocked kitchen... many folks just eat out, but quite a few like to buy groceries and cook, so having the right pots, pans, utensils and spices has won some hearts and minds.5. view... the better the view the more they'll appreciate the time they spend on the property. whether that's just trees, or a ridge line, or the full majesty of a mountain range.Good luck in your search!

In addition, clearing the land exposes it to winds and removes the roots that hold up adjoining tree; in the winter storms, this could send a massive tree crashing down on my property, potentially destroying the cabin that I've spent the last year rehabbing with my own sweat equity.

The exterior of the duplex needs repainting and both the A/C condensers are completely unleveled on their soft pads from a rising root system from the tree in the backyard.
