The good news is that is you get the right financing there are people that will sign on the loan with you for a little bit of the equity (they are called a Key Principle - KP). 

@Michael Baum I've been hearing about the waiting period for so long I'm reactive to it, LOL - fantastic news if it's optional.  

The good news is, you can sell this vehicle and get a minimal problem one for about $5k and carry on with bigger goals.
