Does get weird though, I was once at a fancy fund raiser deal and some attorneys I knew from high school were trying to convince me to go back to school to become a lawyer like them.

And if your tenants are not paying, well you're looking at 6 - 12 months to get them out if you have a good lawyer.

I have everything in black and white  , her brother is lawyer the one who made the contract and now I can’t even get in touch with him .  

So far my only success has been through referrals from others (lawyer, title co etc).

The RE lawyers I've spoken to have always said to never give a rent discount because there is a risk that it could be seen as an adjustment to the lease, @Anthony Wick.

What I like about them is that they are very active by email (who has time for calls lol) and that the firm has several lawyers in office available to answer all sorts of questions real estate related.
