You can do LLCs or you can do an umbrella policy... it really depends on how many properties you have.

I am not familiar with the BP policy of mentioning companies, etc. 

Everyone that had insurance got paid out and stopped paying for it soon after so there is now a laps in coverage which means all the grandfathered policies are now gone.
