The main players in this space are Guidance Residential and UIF, but it turns out that they may just be purchasing a Freddie/Fannie loan on the back end to finance the deal and then structure it differently for the buyer - which isn't in accordance with their religious rules.

To me, this is a cost that won't "add value" to your BRRRR, so I would more strongly consider how much it might impact your ability to rent the unit/house.

I am in the process of settlement on my 1st property in 1 week. i have a 5% down conv loan thru a credit union bank. this a duplex and is a row house. i plan to live in one unit and rent out the other. the seller is also selling the duplex property next to it.
