Definitely true, although I guess I could note there is one other good thing about blue cities and that is that they make it very difficult to build and thereby prices for existing buildings tend to rise as do rents (which ironically makes them less affordable and want to pass more arduous anti-landlord laws).  

I don't dabble much in the commercial space, but east tampa is on the rise and will certainly change the whole area in the next 5-10 years. 

"Hey, the AC isn't holding temperature and it's making a funny noise outside".  

It seems to be linked to the higher sea temperatures so I fear it can only get worse.

Tulsa, Oklahoma is a city on the rise, and the real estate market here is full of potential.

During this heat wave the temperature on 2nd floor has been in the upper 70s and even hit 80.

I've told him multiple times that he needs to maintain a reasonable temperature in the house but he continues to ignore me.

Appreciation does also exist in Oakland, it just doesn't rise as fast as properties in hot markets like Mountain View or Palo Alto. 

Look for areas with high need for rentals, growing numbers of people, and rising business activity.

House prices keep rising and I'm getting very frustrated with not having enough to cover the dti ratio.
