If the project gets off track you would complete three other types of analysis; a descriptive analysis (what happened), a diagnostic analysis (why it happened) followed by a prescriptive analysis (how do we fix it).

The mistake of thinking that there is a magic pill or secret potion to real estate investing.  

The attorneys said that adverse possession/prescriptive easements are very hard to pull off here, in this subdivided lots.

I understand that houses bought at a higher price today means nothing in 20-30 years, but still..it's a very hard pill to swallow.3.

People will scoff at them but they do more deals than anyone else per month and are probably worth meeting with at least to just get a source of properties Thanks @Dustin P.! Ill

@David Y Mei   It is a tough pill to swallow,but based on what you describe probably better to cut your losses now on this one. 

We continued to lower the price, eventually dropping it down to $420k, which was significantly lower than the initial estimate.This was a tough pill to swallow for both my client and myself, as we knew that the property was worth more than what it was currently being listed for.

I sometimes feel like I am taking crazy pills when I read all of these max leverage and refi until you die posts. 

Outside of Levitt linking legalized abortion to the drop in crime (a hard pill to swallow for even pro-choicers), not many have a good explanation for the drop in crime (we at similar rates as the 1950s which is hard to believe the good ole 50s had the amount of crime we do now).

They see a doctor or counselor once, get a dog prescription, and then never go back.
