I tell little girls just how adorable they are; I hold the door for my elders, & always let them go ahead of me (even when they take their time); & I stop to let cars out in traffic, allow people the right of way in crosswalks, & politely wave when everyone else beeps at me in appreciation ;0)To say the least some of my ways are a bone of contention for most of my Mass friends that explain to me (over, & over, & over) that my "friendliness" gives off the wrong impression ;0).

I'm new to Mass (a little over a year now) so this info on the surrounding cities is invaluable to me.I'll be sure to keep your considerations of Chelsea in mind.My thought is that I seen a LOT of new construction going on in Chelsea (and Malden) and I feel some areas are really starting to revamp.

You would probably want to check out the Eastern Mass REIA in Rockland (Used to have a 2nd meeting in Taunton but don't think they have been doing that one recently) and can also try the House Flipping School Meetup in Plymouth and the South Shore REIA by the Cape.
