We were being transferred to that area and went up to look at a couple different homes in the area and that one came up that day, and we made a full asking offer immediately.

@Daniel Kazakos Correct, I don't think I could qualify as a RE Prof in the next couple of months given that 750 hours is required and nov and dec are "short" months. 

There are a couple REIAs in the Tri-State area, but none of them are backed by the power of BP and the incredible people that it tends to attract.

I'll underscore a couple of points. 

I have taken a couple of Joe's courses (free and paid) and found them very helpful @Joe McCall.I can't recall the price, but if it was $500 or $1,500, it was worth it to me, as I learned a lot about marketing in addition to lease options.

There are others but those are some of the more recent ones I have talked to (in the last couple weeks) that had the best offers.

You can find some absolute MTR gems near smaller hospitals that aren't so obvious but ultimately, housing supply in the area is something I'd say is more important coupled with your amenities.
