I use it for my family as a ski lodge, and rent it out to pay for itself.  

For AirBnB, you have to provide services in addition to just the lodging to be considered a business.

From everything I could read, it sounds like the biggie was just to make sure Baton Rouge was getting their lodging taxes, but I know they were kicking around more extreme policies, so I wanted to check with y’all.

Hurricane season I am assuming but Pensacola is great for nature lovers, people wanting to see the Blue Angels etc. all year round.We will get all our lodging permits- how hard is it to do?

For example, the block I live in (Virginia Park St between Woodward and the Lodge) is full of beautiful mansions, with almost no vacancy.

Belmont Neighborhood is west of M-10(Lodge Freeway) vs Birwood is located east of the Lodge for lots of Detroit. 1 mile makes a big difference in Detroit, major streets or freeways make a huge difference.Birwood is nicer going North towards Mumford HS, and Bates Academy that area around Marygrove is always well maintained. 

I find that a majority of hotel talk comes at lodging conferences.  

My Tennessee properties hit right around 40, while my Colorado properties hit closer to 35% (due mostly to lodging tax difference on gross).
