I can see using the ones for the handles if there is a humidity problem for the deadbolts. 

I know I couldn’t stand Florida’s humidity. 

I'm sure FL is similar with the heat and humidity.

The higher the humidity, the more condensate will runoff.

Renters dialed the thermostat down to 45 degrees (calling for cold) but cold would not happen.....sometimes the A/C coils inside the unit freeze up into a solid block of ice due to the humidity in the air.Running the unit with a dirty filter might (maybe could) lead to this, but sometimes it just happens.

How is the humidity compared to California?

@Eric Thomson   Well you guys in Texas have tornado's monster heat and humidity...
