I think if you act scared and they see it, they'll try to exploit it.

We as individual paper investors can't compete with the high velocity trading computers exploiting arbitrages out there.   

Centuries of laws that were discriminator built up and unequal advantage for some while leaving others behind.The prosperity americans have was propped up by the exploitation of millions of people, even to this day we exploit countries around the world for their resources.I am a student of history and understand the winners write the books and its easy not to question when your on top but today so many americans feel its their right to rule supreme because they are americans.

This is exploitation it makes me angry to think of this again.

I guess in every industry there are many who will exploit "loopholes" that are actually not even "loopholes" but simply a rewording of words, which doesn't make something illegal, legal.The ingenuity of a human mind is priceless, lol.

Its even less clear now that they have the votes to pass this mess.I did read an interesting opinion piece (which I cannot locate at the moment) saying that because this has been drafted and revised so hastily there will be all sorts of loopholes in this law ripe for exploitation.   2018 taxes will be even more challenging than normal.

The most successful people combine education with creativity and a keen eye for recognizing innovation opportunities or inefficiencies in a market that can be exploited.

You probably won't agree with me based on previous threads where we've had polite disagreements, but I believe this is someone exploiting the law of unintended consequences. 

In reality, they are just finding a person with a soft spot to exploit.   

But exploiting (legally and ethically) safe opportunities in the market to turn $1 into $5 within 3-5 years is my idea of a smart decision.
