I just remember watching those shows where there are billion dollar plus developments built in china sitting empty.and Last time I was in Singapore we scooted over to Maylasia and you should have seen all the high rises there basically 1/4 sold or mainly empty ..

If you are a long term buy and hold investor, I would look at where the growth is happening....buy in the areas of high growth....as Ross Perot used to say, you want to make a billion in real estate, buy in the path of progress....and he and now his family did quite well with this idea.Austin prices are super high, but seem to be going higher.

The contractor's original work got "done" 5 months later than their original estimate with a billion excuses when we're actually able to get hold of them.
