I've been to some local events when I used to live there (2020-2023) but I tend to like networking 1 on 1 more than at events.

Only thing I got out of those events were I didn't understand how to get to the next level (no fault of the events, I take responsibility of my on inability to make the connections in the content).

I even have a friend who received an unfounded complaint from a neighbor (the neighbor was just against STRs, no events/parties that occurred), and now their property is temporarily banned/under review, regardless of them abiding by all rules.
