There are plenty of people with expense bills that are astronomical.  

When I made my offer, the seller countered at an astronomical $345k for the duplex which I was stunned by. 

As an aside, the cost is astronomically high!

Either wages need to rise astronomically, which data suggests it’s falling ….or asset prices need to fall….or the fed needs to go back to rate cuts and risk inflation spiraling out of control to keep asset prices elevated long term.

Thanks for sharing @Robert Ellis I had not seen that article before, here are some thoughts (since you asked)- $2,500/mnth for any of the three areas mentioned seems astronomical to me. 

On top of that, the number of vacation rentals grew astronomically the last few years and many are losing money. 

But do I rip on Columbus for having astronomical prices compared to the rest of Ohio on properties any time someone asks about Columbus?

Hopefully that appreciation is astronomical.
