If you go down that route, you could save on taxes if you wait to sell or rent until Mar 2020 when you hit 2 years of residence, that would allow you to sell it as a personal residence and pay no capital gains tax.

So my family and I bought a new build home dec 2015...home prices were going up at the time from when we originally started looking after my wife and I got married in mar 2014, but we were comfortable with the price we paid.

The outer suburbs are a bit more stable and generally B class but even there, there are some bad pockets such as Mars Hill or Northeastwood. 

This compares to the Sherwin Williams Pro Mar 200 that's more money.
