you can also tell the next buyer, it just appraised for "X" but I need "Y" above the appraisal.my buddy did this. he did a flip; fha so 2 appraisals required if sold within 6 months. 1st appraisal at $140k; 2nd at $130k. they take the lower of the 2.he put it back on the market and had 2 offers right away; 1 pay $2500 over the appraisal and the other $5k over the appraisal so it can happen.

But, this doesn't seem to fit the typical wholesale situation either (buyers aren't compelled to buy that one property out of some external condition).So, it's still not clear to me that buying at $X and selling at $Y is against the law, even for a mark-up of 10%, 20% or more.

Even as a transactional agent, IF I'm given permission to disclose X,Y, or Z, and that information will get the deal to the table, you'd better believe I'm going to disclose whatever I've been given permission to disclose!
