We have the option of buying a house this summer, or staying with family and waiting awhile (Fall 2021 or Winter/Spring 2021).

Property owners get an annual update with their winter property tax bill.Most Michigan properties receive TWO annual tax bills - one from the city and one from the county.

The current owner does and I am seeing the expenses for utilites go from $300/mo in the summer up to $800/mo. in the winter with Montana winters getting pretty brutal some years.

Lastly I allowed tenants in front units to stay over the winter.

You will be very happy to move here, especially with our winters compared to Michigan.
