When you buy turn key your buying rehabbed not Brand new... from the pics of this house I don't think this was Turn key at all.. it looked like it was lived in.. and your buying an existing rental with whatever hair comes on it.

The Century Plaza Towers do look correct in the pic and if you are to the east of them looking westward, you should be able to see the sunset where it is shown in the pic because the area is pretty flat in West L.A. and Santa Monica to the south of Wilshire Blvd.

Yes, I know, you'll always have to live somewhere, and that (usually) costs money whether renting OR buying, BUT, the idea of "house hacking" is to ameliorate your rent/mortgage expenses, if not eliminate them altogether (because the other rent/s CAN sometimes pay for ALL those expenses)!
