After reading that book, I realized the potential of investing in real estate. 

I realize that I likely will not live in this home long term, so I thought I should look at it as more of an investment property than a traditional home.  

Determine your goals...short-term, mid-term, long-term...realizing they may change over time, but you need a roadmap. 

After a realization in 2009 that I didn't know what I was doing and relied on the realtor too much, I decided to do some reading on how to buy a house.  

I realize I am not.

@Bill Exeter   I realize this is a few years after this post but.... 

I thought "White Settlement" was just some sort of strange phrase being used, but I just realized it's a city.

The softener took care of the sulfur smell, but if I waited too long before topping off the salt, the odor would be a very good reminder.I realize my idea is kind of like suggesting to somebody whose car won't start that they check the gas tank to make sure there is gas in it.

Closing Company/Attorney: When I go to the closing attorney/ title company, etc. are these expenses that the actual buyer realizes or that I realize?

If I realized I gave advice that bad I would have to consider shooting myself in both kneecaps since I would truly deserve to suffer.
