All of my properties are on 20yr amortizations with local banks so hasn't affected my underwriting personally, but as a commercial lender I am getting a lot more phone calls as well, which makes me curious. 

I did tried calling them as you suggested, however they are not taking any phone calls from new customers currently.

I found a property, 1.75 acres, it has a log cabin based house built in 1848, and a 1993 mobile home.

When you speak to them over the phone during your prescreen, you can mention that LA city code has a limit of 2 people per bedroom per unit.

We happen to own 3 mobile homes on a canal to a chain of lake in Central Florida.

After numerous phone calls with the post office and the city, I had to speak with the city's Engineering Division: 'Dept of Community and Neighborhoods' of which she gave me a checklist of what was required.If your 4plex is in Dallas, I'd recommend calling the city of Dallas Engineering Dept.
