Be smart though, and make sure it's a good logical investment.. some people will say no, don't touch retirement.. but if you put it within your retirement plan, I think it's just another way to leverage yourself.

Not that it matters much, but IMO the most logical approach (particularly *because* I don't benefit either way) would be to limit STRs only to properties in multifamily or mixed use zones, and then only if an annual license is in hand.I mean, we zone land in our City for a reason; we want a city where people can choose properties that promote different lifestyles.

Their logic is that real estate investors buy up property and make it unaffordable for the average people who want to live in an area.Oddly enough I have seen this argument here in parts of Omaha, which seems laughable considering there is a huge supply of housing here priced under $100,000.
