It is a 3/1 in a nice neighborhood, 1025 sq/ft, great curb appeal, privacy fenced in back yard, and a roof leak.

It may make sense to wait a little while before you pull the trigger on your first investment property, but now would be the perfect time to start getting all of your loan docs in, getting pre-approved, and start looking for something.

Also I’m a little worried about the Alisso Canyon gas leak.

I signed docs w/ a notary in-person at the Wells Fargo bank and then walked to UPS store 1 mile away, waited in a long line keeping 6 feet away from everyone, and finally walked back home up a giant hill.

Hey Hud,The lender providing you the second loan will charge you normal long term financing fees - points, doc fees, credit fees, appraisal, tile fees, etc. 

There can be astronomical attorney fee's for doing all kinds of things throughout the process (i.e condo docs).
