Hi @Elsa M.Some great ways to find tenants are through:• A local realtor (this may cost you, but takes the work off of you)• Trulia (free posting)• Craigslist• Facebook Groups in your local area• Hanging pamphlets on local bulletin boards • Local NewspaperBe sure to properly screen them (Credit, Criminal & Background)  by using one of various screening services that are out there.Best of luck!

Somewhere there there should be a Landlord button where there will be a link to a form you can fill out to fax it (yes, most housing authorities are still working on paper) to get your property added to their list.The inspectors take great offense to if you have them come out to tell you what is wrong.

You can find a ton of information about a person from some on-line services, like doing a North Carolina Department Of Public Safety Offender Public Information search using just a name and birthdate.Again, personally, I don't want to deal with people where NCDOC identifies as "Primary Crime: HABITUAL FELON (PRINCIPAL)" as in a 29 year old with 8 pages of criminal history with "total Incarceration Term: 15 YEARS 3 MONTHS 15 DAYS" … think about that for a few seconds...
