The company will likely help us sell our home.From my vantage point, I think the reasons to sell are:- Free money from the company to sell our home (~$80k commission)- We’ve been in the home long enough to qualify for the married couple capital gains exemption and will likely take advantage of the full $500kReasons to hold and rent would be:- Keep our 2014 low-ish tax base.

Couple that with the money you spent to get to that point maybe it's less than you expected at the end.Now you could do a 1031, reduce some of those costs and taxes but again that assumes you can find something as the replacement.Or maybe you find something that cash flows and goes up 5% yr or stays flat....

The bank as been listed as the owner for a couple of years now on some while others where listed as the owner within the last six months to a year but not listed for sale.
