I have been interested in R.E investing for a year or two now, and have been educating with books, podcasts, and BP for a few months.

I've heard of doing nothing until the end and then sniping the last bidder, and I've heard continually bid so everyone knows you're serious.

Still, my walk away number is quite a bit lower than they're asking, so taking your advice, I'll probably continue to keep looking.

Funny enough I found a similar association but called ARLA ( Alberta Residential Landlord Association) with a membership which seems pretty fair considering it offers discounts and resources (e.g. forms, education).

Not quite sure how owner financing works exactly at this point but I am educating myself and asking questions.Also going over real deals in the real world that involve underwriting which is teaching me how much I don't know.
