@Moira Baggett, there is no real answer to this other than: review your operating agreement and potentially talk to an attorney, likely to do the same.Most syndication docs drafted by capable attorneys will effectively state that you are acknowledging these are risky investments and there is a real chance you lose all your money.

When buying your 1st home/real estate investment is a real estate agent needed on your side?

Additionally, since we handle leasing for these properties, a broker's or real estate license is necessary.However, a broker's license is not required if you manage properties that you own jointly with investors.

Opened another checking/credit card for just real estate expenses, and deposit tenant and our portion of payments into that account.
