I’m curious as to what tips, tricks and advice you have all used when going to a local bank and talking to them about gaining a relationship with them in regards to lending for investment properties.

As you connect with sponsors that resonate with you, take the time to develop a relationship with them.

However, just taking the steps so that process is easier and building relationships with the people that will ultimately make up my "team" for when I am ready to pull the trigger. 

I don't believe I am involved in a scam as I have a personal relationship with the group that brokered the deal and they have reportedly done several deals with this hospital group. 

I normally get to vet my tenants and have always kept great relationships with them.

This is double-effective, because it helps you build your network of lenders, handy people, contractors, title partners, private lenders, etc who...if the proper relationship can be developed will show you what the MLS can't.  

The time is better spent finding deals and building relationships with others in real estate.  

Might want to start where you bank and have a relationship first to see what they offer and go from there. 

This is not a good way to start the working relationship.

I learned that networking and relationships can only go so far.
