Well we have had 1 property for about 2 years but we are now looking to get more serious.

If we decide to sell the home we are currently living in, we will need to go somewhere.

But navigating all of their red tape got me into a really great property with a really low rate so it was certainly worth it.

I have heard there is a lot of red tape with the 203k process on the lending side.

Here in Illinois we are an attorney close state, so I leaned heavily on my attorneys early on to get this info.

It is definitely not achievable on every listing, but every now and then they pop up or we are successful with one of our strategies for finding a property not yet on the market. 

I'll tell you up front, the "out of town" demand for Charlotte is red hot right now, and they don't have time for investors who don't know what they want, or want something unrealistic.

I am negotiating with the absent owner of an off-market home and we are having issues finding an agreeable purchase price.

Selling it right now definitely isn't an option we are considering.
