Windows should be used for lighting only though, ventilation should always be done via exhaust fan, opening a shower window just creates more moisture/steam etc and creates additional problems.

You should also connect with a good title co as they may be able to provide all of the docs you need, do your closing, title insurance, etc at a lower cost than an attorney.

@Nicole Wylie It is probably easier and cheaper to become a licensed Realtor than an appraiser but probably MUCH harder to be a successful Realtor. 

I reaaly think there is a better place to invest your money than an area that has a 0.6% rent/cost average.
