@Ralph R. just as @Jason Bott said, this means the claim comes off of your record, or if you are an additional insured, you can just go directly against their renters policy and skip your policy if the damages are below the limit of liability.

Told them how I wanted the job to run and made an agreement on how the payments would be made I did not want to deal with someone taking the money and skipping out on the job and I wanted to set up a draw system, once phases of the job were completed to my satisfaction I would then send a wire.

My rationale is that if we don't like the area/job/etc, I still have a vacation rental I can use to generate some income while we decide the next area to claim as the primary residence.I also have the flexibility of purchasing more properties in CT, which I know better, and skipping the vacation market altogether in FL and sticking to just residential non vacation rentals in Orlando.

I run the deceased name thru a title search, then look up the property on google maps. if I am interested in the property, I skip trace the PR or heir named in the petition, then add those to a leads database.
