I say this because you may find it's not entirely necessary to go pay an attorney to find out how to deal with an emotional support dog.

I should add that I hired contractors take all of the nasty carpet out which smelled like dog pee, etc and made the house very musty especially in the basement which had a leaking sewer line that was copper and the plumber put in pvc which was not cheap but now no more problems with leaking sewer waste.

I’m not so worried about dogs and am more worried about cats.

No way I would just let anyone come on in without having a quick chat about who they are, why are they coming here and if they will be bringing a dog etc.

I wasn’t always this way but when I first started to love real estate and decided to take over a house in my dads name I realized that 1 wrong move could have cost me tons of UNNECESSARY money. 

Currently house has 6 dogs inside and 1 cat!

They have a small emotional support dog and also a cat.

We asked our tenants to move out due to the blatant violation of the 'no pet' clause, but the damage has been done, and the unit reeks of dog pee.
