When claiming the mortgage interest deduction, the buyer should include the seller's name and SSN on his tax return and the seller should give the buyer a 1098 letter for the mortgage interest paid by the buyer to the seller.

Nothing has changed on my account and the letter I received approving my request just stated that my new rate was 0% at least until my tour is up which in that case I will email new orders until I retire.

Another thing you might consider is to get your financing figured out and they need to be willing to give you a loan letter that states how long it should take to close your loan and the maximum amount of the loan you qualified for.

There is really no such thing as an approved short sales unless if an approval letter has been generated for a specific buyer.Most Banks quote 45-90 days for a decision; Many times it may take longer.
