You can't walk in to the meetup with a set agenda at this point because no one knows each other so it'd be a bit silly to walk in, plant a flag and declare that this group is only about wholesaling, or land contracts, or complaining about tenants, etc.

Also someone can come in an overbid at the last minute and leave you out to dry if they see that that is the sales price.The judge will say to the seller, try selling for $320, if it is not selling for $345. and go down from there incrementally.

We have a "Pro Only" forum section, that is no guarantee that someone who drops money in won't be giving bad advice, many seem to be on the newish side as well.Consolidating good information would be very difficult to do, who would judge that advice?

My particular focus is buy and hold rental properties, but I'm sure we could all stand to benefit from learning about how 50% partners engaged in other areas of REI handle the question of, "Who does what, and how do we assign value to what we're doing, so we can both feel comfortable in our abilities to judge how close we are to an equitable arrangement?".

@Mindy Jensen thanks for posting.If the problem is minorities being targeted and prosecuted unfairly, maybe the federal government should look at their own court system and judges.

I really did not know what to expect, after walking through security and waiting for the judge to enter the room, the crowd seated in something similar to church benches, was fairly up tight and the situation was not conducive to socializing and handing out business cards.
